Life's has not been easy in the Philippines specially now that the world is facing the financial crisis most Filipinos are satisfied of the little things that we have. We are not use to that life of luxuries that is why even how simple the things that we have, we find it really as something big. One time when i experience drop out on my budget, i make it to the point that we have the food to eat, and praying that everybody's health will be in shape for it is very difficult if someone got sick for ovious reason, additional budget for the medicine. I see to it that we are eating nutritious food (thank you for the veges in our backyard like malunggay, camote tops papaya etc). One thing we do not forget to do, go to church every Sunday to thank the Lord for the bleesings and ask Him for the graces that we need though how little it is it made us survive..... That is why i consider it something BIG.....

Marco the Angel
My life is just as simple as others do. Raised in the typical filipino Family. I earned my degree despite the hardships most Filipinos are facing, thanks for my supporting parents and generous siblings and family friends.
When i got married at age 32, huh! quite late for a Filipino woman to have his own family, trying to catch the last trip as they say. It took us years of waiting for a new member of our new built family, another years of waiting still negative result. Would it be Gods plan? then one hot afternoon when my husband's niece texted me that she was 3-month pregnant of the man who left her after planning their marriage asking for some pieces of advice. Three weeks later when she told me that she will leave the baby under my care for financially she is not yet ready without the father's support my first reply was, "lets just talk about it when the baby is due". Time come the baby's born, she texted me again asking for a name for her baby boy, I had suggested her 6 combination of names based onthe initial of her nameM and F, alas! he chooses Marco Francis, my best bet of the six, then another text i received informing me to register the baby as our baby ( me as the mom and my spouse as the dad) but for some reason, i did not accept the "invitation" one sure I realized was that she will give the baby for us... ( obvious we are not blessed with a child). Three weeks after, she brought the baby to the capital city for a check up for the village she lived does not have pediatrician. The baby seemed so weak despite the prescription had been given, yet i found something wrong so me and the mother went to another doctor but we were advice not to go home, we had to admit the baby to the hospital for observation, the poor baby got pneumonia and i had seen in him that angelic face... since then, i promised to take good care of him, when the baby finally was advised to go home the mother said that she has to leave the baby for us, Marco is an angel that came into our life, no matter how difficult life is I promised to take good care of him no matter what. He grew up normally pampered with our love, he is indeed the accepted as a son for me and my hubby, and greatly.... apo (grandson) for Tatay and Nanang, and to my siblings.... he is a pamangkin ( nephew ).
I pray God to bless me and my hubby to raise him into normal kid loving, caring and God-fearing....
